Shadows
Shadows are beautiful things
Wonderful things, indeed
To you they might be just a dark spot
But, oh, not to me
To me they are an imitation of things
That God has given us
A lovely replication of things
They are made with no fuss
An outlining image
Of big or small things
People use them for puppets
And joy it does bring
You can make a bunny,
Giraffes, or butterflies
Hold your hands before light
And see what you'll find
